experiences, the trip takes you mainly to Jinja for the source of the Nile, Emburara farm for farm activities, and the five major National Parks of the country, including Murchison Falls National Park for wildlife and beautiful sceneries, Kibale Forest National Park for chimp trek and walks in Bigodi Swamp and the crater lakes, Queen Elizabeth National Park for the game drives and boat cruise on Kazinga Chanel and not forgetting Ishasha for the tree climbing lions, Bwindi Forest National Park for the magical Gorilla experience and cultural encounters, Lake Bunyonyi for the wonderful views, ziplining and canoeing, Lake Mburo National – the smallest savannah national parks, and the only park where you can have horse riding, mountain biking among others and the trip finally takes you to Entebbe to Mabamba Swamp for bird watching.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe Airport – Entebbe Hotel (Approx. 10 -30 mins drive)
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, our representative will meet and welcome you. He will be your tour and driver guide for the rest of your days in the country. After the interaction and brief introduction, you will be transferred to your preferred Hotel in Entebbe for an Overnight stay. Bed and Breakfast
Day 2: Full Day City Tour
Full Day Kampala City tour, you will visit places like Kasubi Tombs the royal burial sites for the kings of the Buganda kingdom, Lubiri Mengo the Kabaka’s palace, the parliament of Buganda (Twekobe), Amin’s torture chamber, Namugongo shrines Bahai temple and so on depending on daytime. You will have a traditional Lunch in Kampala where you will have a taste of Luwombo.
Dinner and overnight on Full board at your hotel.
Day 3: Day in Ewaffe Cultural Center
Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to Ewaffe Cultural Village. You will participate in activities like a Farm tour, food preparations (Luwombo), backcloth making, Traditional games, a journey to the well, fruit feast and have Luwombo Lunch. Evening transfer Back to Jinja. Dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 4: Full day in Jinja You will spend the whole day in Jinja. You can participate in white water rafting experience on the mighty River Nile. Enjoy the Nile's famous rapids for what has been described as " the best one-day rafting experience on the planet". Kitted out with all of the latest safety equipment and treated to a safety briefing before you set out, you'll then experience the speed and power of this mighty river as you and your team negotiate its rapids. You'll take lunch on one of the islands along the way, and return to your lodge in the afternoon. Evening visits the source and River Nile on a boat cruise.

Day 5: Jinja to Murchison Falls National Park (Approx. 5-6hrs drive)
After breakfast at the hotel, your driver guide will pick you for a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. This journey will take you through the famous Luweero Triangle and a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, enjoy a 1-2hrs walk as you track the Rhinos. This is the only place where one is able to see these in the wild. Have Lunch and later proceed with your journey to Murchison falls National Park via Masindi town. You will have another stop over the Top of the falls for clear and magnificent views of the water forcing its self through a 7-meter gorge and dropping to over 43 meters below with a thunderous roar hence forming a beautiful rainbow. Reach at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay. Full Board
Day 6: Game drive and Launch cruise to the bottom of the falls Rise very early in the morning and set out for the game drive before sunrise. Murchison falls being Uganda’s largest park, you will enjoy a variety of wildlife it has to offer including Lions, Leopards, Buffalos, Elephants, large numbers of Giraffes, Warthogs, Antelopes, Waterbucks and Bushbucks as well as the so many different bird species.
After like 3-4hrs of the game drive, return to the Lodge for a late breakfast and Relaxation. After Lunch, set out for the afternoon launch cruise to the bottom of the falls along the Victoria Nile. This 3hrs boat cruise will enable you to have a glance at several waters loving animals such as Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffalos and so many bird species like kingfishers, Cormorants, Hornbills, Goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelicans, and bee-eaters. After the cruise, return to your Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Full Board
Day 7: Depart for Kibale Forest National Park (Approx. 7- 8hrs drive)
Early morning you will have your breakfast at the lodge and depart for Kibale National Park. The Journey will take you through the Western Rift Valley’s Albertine Escarpment as well as the green countryside and traditional homesteads of the local people within the Bunyoro and Toro Kingdoms. Upon arriving in Fort Portal, clear days will give you a glimpse of the legendary snowcapped Mountain also famously known as the “Mountains of the Moon” (Mt Rwenzori). Kibale Forest National Park is home to 13 primate species including the common Man’s closest Cousins (Chimpanzees). Arrive at your Lodge in the evening and check in overnight stay on Full Board.
Day 8: Chimp Tracking and Nature Walk at Bigodi.
Morning breakfast at your lodge and set out for a half-day Chimpanzee tracking experience. You will be transferred to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu for a 30- 40mins briefing and get to know more about the chimpanzees and their ways of living within the forest. After this, you will then embark on your journey to search for these Primates through the forest. On spotting the chimps, you are only given one Hour to be with them as you taking videos and pictures. Along the way other primate species can be spotted such as the LHoest’s Monkeys, Red tailed Monkeys, Blue Vervet Monkeys, and Black & White colobus Monkeys among others. Other animals that can be seen are Forest Elephants, Buffalos and a lot of bird species. After the tracking, return to your Lodge for Lunch and have a Bigodi swamp walk famously know for a number of bird species other primates and continue to visit the Bigodi community you will have a chance to interact with the local communities. Return to your Lodge in the evening.

Day 9: Crater Lakes and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park After your morning breakfast, visit the Kasenda craters. Take a short hike to the ‘Top of the World’ viewpoint where you can see a lot of the small crater lakes within this region.
Proceed and also visit the spectacular Lake Nyinambuga from which the lake shown on the 20.000 Uganda shilling note was depicted. Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is one of country’s best wildlife National parks with over 600 bird species, mammals like Lions, Leopards, elephants, buffaloes and so many others. Evening game drive in the park.
Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge. Full Board
Day 10: Game drive and Boat ride along the Kazinga channel. After an early morning breakfast, depart for your morning game drive in the Kasenyi areas. Look out for wildlife animals such as Lions, Leopards, Buffalos, Elephants, Antelopes, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Bushbucks and so on. Lunch and in the afternoon set out for the launch cruise along the Kazinga channel. The channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is home to one of Africa’s largest hippo populations and bird species. This 2-3-hour boat cruise will enrich you with views of water-loving animals such as hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and other antelopes, as we are a bird species. Return to your Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11: Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth & the tree climbing Lions (Approx.
2hrs drive)
After breakfast leave the park's northern side and transfer to the southern sector of Ishasha. Spend the whole day on a game drive in search of the rare tree-climbing lions.
These are famously found in fig trees. Have an evening sundowner with a few drinks to end the evening game drive. Overnight at your Lodge.

Day 12: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (Approx. 3hrs drive)
Breakfast in the morning and embark on your journey to the famous Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The park is well known for being a habitat to the endangered species of Mountain Gorillas. Check in at your Lodge. Lunch and have the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 13: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park The day is finally here for your unforgettable lifetime experience of meeting face-to-face with the giant mountain Gorillas. You will start your day with an early breakfast at your lodge and then transfer to the park headquarters (Depending on which location you have booked your accommodation) for briefing. There are 4 sectors in which Gorilla trekking takes place within Bwindi Forest. The northern side of the park is comprised of Buhoma and Ruhija Sector and the southern side is comprised of the Rushaga and Nkuringo sectors. After Briefing, you will start on your day’s trek. Searching for the gorillas may take like 2-5hrs depending on where they were last spotted the previous day.
Once they have been spotted, you will be given one hour to take videos, and photos and also get a chance to ask the rangers and the guides any questions about these giant apes. Besides the great Apes, the forest is also home to other wildlife and bird species such as butterflies, primates, mammals, frogs and so on which all can be seen along the way to the Gorillas. After seeing the Gorillas, you will then head back to your lodge and retire for the rest of the day. The whole day's activity can take between 5 -9 hours. Packed Lunch and hiring porters are highly recommended.

Day 14: Batwa Experience The Batwa Experience is another very interesting adventure created by the displaced Batwa pygmies to educate their children and to share their amazing heritage and traditions with the world. Step back in time to see how the Batwa lived for millennia in the Bwindi, one of the most beautiful jungles on earth and home to the famous mountain gorillas. Enjoy an incredible day hike in the rain forest with Batwa guides, see how the Batwa lived and hunted, learn about medicinal plants, and watch for animals and birds.
You will hear ancient legends and traditional songs, watch energetic dances, and join in on a mock hunting party You can even test your skill with a Batwa bow and arrow.

Day 15: Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi (Approx. 3hrs drive)
After a joyful and unforgettable Gorilla trekking experience, it will be time for you to have a shore relaxing time on Lake Bunyonyi. You will have your morning breakfast and later
drive to Lake Bunyonyi which is the 2nd deepest Lake in Africa. The Lake is found in Kabale also famously known as the “Switzerland of Africa” as named by Sir Winston Churchill because of its coldness and eye-catching landscapes. Lake Bunyonyi is also a well-known birder's paradise as its name Bunyonyi means birds. The journey to the lake from Bwindi will give you magnificent views of the locally terraced interlocking hills with are used by local farmers. Have the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Day 16: Day in Lake Bunyonyi
Morning Ziplining on lake Bunyonyi, lunch. Afternoon head out for a canoe ride to different islands on the Lake. Lake Bunyonyi Harbors around 29 different islands and each is believed to have its history. One of these is the Punishment Island – you will be told about its story while canoeing by your local tour guide, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay on Full Board.
Day 17: Lake Bunyonyi to Emburara Farm (Approx. 3hrs drive)
After your morning breakfast, transfer to Emburara Farm Lodge. A stay at Emburara Farm Lodge isn’t just about relaxing in comfort—it’s also an opportunity to connect with nature and learn about the region’s agricultural traditions. And of the activities and experiences that make a stay at the lodge special is the Farm Experience. One of the unique aspects of Emburara Farm Lodge is its status as a working farm. Guests can take part in farm activities like milking cows, collecting eggs, and learning about organic farming practices. This hands-on experience gives visitors a deeper understanding of local farming life.

Day 18: Emburara Farm to Lake Mburo National Park (Approx. 1-1 ½ hrs drive)
After your morning early breakfast, you will participate in the morning farm activities and later be driven to Lake Mburo National Park which is Uganda’s smallest National Park.
The journey will take you through stunning sceneries and views of the Ankole Kingdom with animal farms and different crop plantations. Arrive in time for Lunch at your Lodge in Lake Mburo. Afternoon set out for a Nature Walk in the park. The park is the safest place for a nature walk since it has no predators such as lions or leopards, allowing you to get closer to the wildlife without any worries. It is famously known for harboring the largest number of Zebras in Uganda. Other animals that can be seen also include Impalas, Oribis, Giraffes, Buffaloes, and a lot of bird species.

Day 19: Game Drive and boat cruise in Lake Mburo National Park Morning breakfast at your lodge and set out for a game drive in the park, as you will come closer to some of the wild animals. Look out for other animals that you missed on a nature walk and have a bonus for others you saw lunch. Afternoon boats ride on Lake Mburo for another adventure on a small pretty lake.

Day 20: Lake Mburo to Entebbe (Approx. 5hrs drive)
Morning breakfast at your lodge and transfer back to Entebbe having Lunch enroute. Stop over at the Equator for the water experience as well as Photography. Proceed to Entebbe for, Dinner and an overnight stay at your Hotel on a Full-board.
Day 21: Visit to Mabamaba Swamp and Departure
Morning breakfast at the hotel, your driver guide will take you to the lake for your canoe boat to Mabamba Swamp commonly known for the rare shoe bill stock among other bird species. Return to Entebbe for lunch and then proceed to the airport for your evening flight back home or your next destination. Breakfast, Lunch
