Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by a Soul City Vacations representative who will brief you on your upcoming adventure. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a short city tour of Kigali including the Genocide Memorial.

🗺️ Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park – Boat Safari
After breakfast, drive east to Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s only savannah park. Arrive in time for an afternoon boat safari on Lake Ihema where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. Overnight: Akagera Game Lodge Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
🐘 Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Akagera
Spend the day exploring Akagera’s scenic landscape on a game drive. Look out for elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and antelope species. Stop for a picnic lunch and continue your game viewing into the afternoon.

🌿 Day 4: Return to Kigali – Cultural Tour
Drive back to Kigali. In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural tour at Nyamirambo Women’s Center or visit local artisan markets.

🌋 Day 5: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Depart for the northwestern part of Rwanda to Volcanoes National Park, the home of mountain gorillas. Drive through rolling hills and arrive at your lodge with views of the Virunga volcanoes.

🦍 Day 6: Gorilla Trekking – Volcanoes NP
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Then begin your once-in-a-lifetime trek to observe endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

🐒 Day 7: Golden Monkey Trek or Optional Activities

✈️ Day 8: Return to Kigali – Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, return to Kigali for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
